The rental total includes: Rental Fee + Apparel Assurance + Service Fee + Cleaning fee
Rental fees assume a 4-day rental. RMW takes an 18% fee from each transaction. For example, if a rental is $100 then $82 will be paid out to the lister and RWM will keep $18. The payout to the lister is issued on the 2nd day of the rental.
Each item gets $5 per $500 of the replacement cost, for example, if an item’s replacement cost is $200 then add $5 for assurance. If the item replacement cost is $900 then add $10 for assurance. RMW keeps 100% of this money.
The service fee is 3% of the rental cost, for example, if a rental cost is $100 then add $3 for a service fee. This is paid by the renter. RWM keeps 100% of this money.
The cleaning fee is optional and determined by the lender, however, cannot exceed $8 or 20% of the rental fee, whichever is greater. The lister keeps 100% of this money.
In order to ensure the rental is returned in great condition, a temporary hold is placed on the renter's credit card the first day of the rental. The hold amount is based on the replacement rate and is released upon check-in.
$1-$100 replacement = $50 hold
$101-$1000 replacement = $100 hold
$1001 replacement = $200 hold.
The lender can choose a strict or flexible refund for each listing if the renter decides to cancel.
If renter cancels more than 3 days before rental a 100% refund is issued and no service fees are charged. If canceled within 3 days of rental, the renter is refunded 80% of the rental fee, 100% of dry cleaning and apparel assurance fees. The lender is compensated 20% of rental fee. In this case, RMW service fees for rental and lender still apply.
If a renter cancels at any time after booking they will not receive a refund for the rental fee. The lender is compensated their usual 82% commission along with the dry cleaning fee.
If a lender cancels 3 days before a rental, the renter is refunded in full. If the lender cancels within 3 days of rental, they are charged $25 fee. RMW will issue a $20 credit on the renters account for the inconvenience.

RMW reserves the right to charge a $25/ day late fee for items not returned or checked into dry cleaner upon last day of rental. After 4 days the full replacement rate will be charged to the renter and reimbursed to the lender. The lender must contact RMW within 12 hours of late check in to file a late return claim.
